Rug pulling, is it legal?

I was allegedly involved in a token where I was able to buy lots of the supply before we dropped the ca to the community (coordinated with the rest of team) the coin allegedly made it to 400k market cap and I allegedly sold all my coins and made out with say almost 20k usd. Allegedly this caused the price to absolutely tank. I live in Canada, I’m looking to see what can happen to me legally as they have all my info. Should I chill and pray to god for forgiveness or should I find a lawyer.
