Parcl blocked in the US?! Why?!

So the short and long…yeah, of this story is I saw several reviews and articles on Parcl. It seemed very very interesting and so I headed over to their website and realized to purchase Parcl I first needed Solana thus I got some Solana using Solflare then traded for Parcl. I then headed back to the Parcl site to connect my wallet and when I attempted I was greeted with a fat red notification that my country (the U.S.) is not allowed to participate in index trading at this time due to regulations! Why? Also will this change as this was the entire point in my purchase was to bet on real estate indexes…. anyone else have this same situation happen to them?
