How to find good memecoins on Solana for trading

Today, about 99% of all new tokens on Solana are created on the Pumpfun platform. I won’t dive into the details; it’s not the most important thing right now. What matters is that ~Photon~ allows you to work with tokens from this platform and has its own tool — Memescope — that lets you use filters effectively to find those hidden gems. Photon also allows you to trade tokens from the Moonshot platform (created by Dexscreener), but personally, I don’t trade those atm.

So, we have three columns, each with its own set of filters covering all the necessary ranges for my strategy:

1. Newly Created – Displays all new tokens created on the Pumphan platform. I use the following filter set:
   • DEX = Pumpfun
   • By Holders Count = 20+ (we need some activity)
   • By Dev holding % = up to 5% (variable, this is my personal choice)
   • By Snipers = up to 1 (filters out snipers)
   • By Volume = 2,000+ (starting volume)
   • By MKT Cap = up to 25,000
   • By TXNS = 25+
2. About to Graduate – Displays tokens close to migrating to Raydium. Filter set:
   • DEX = Pumpfun
   • By Holders Count = 50+
   • By Dev holding % = up to 5%
   • By Snipers = up to 1
   • By Volume = 10,000+
   • By MKT Cap = 25,000+
3. Graduated – Displays tokens that have migrated to Raydium. I’m interested in tokens with:
   • DEX = Pumpfun
   • By Volume = 300,000+
   • By MKT Cap = 30,000+

This setup will give you good tokens. Filtering is the first step. Of course, this is just part of the search algorithm. I won’t give all the details, but here’s the direction. Always pay attention to the following aspects:

• Meta
• Supply distribution
• Social media
• Community
• Influencers/Calls
• Developer wallets

Trading shitcoins is not easy, and there are many nuances. For those interested, this is enough basic information to generate questions. This isn’t a “how to get 100x now” notes.
