So I was looking at my exodus wallet recently, where I hold my SOL, and it was showing me a significantly less balance then I had. It was even showing me a public address I was unfamiliar with.
I naturally panicked and relentlessly tried to figure out where the funds went. I tried refreshing the wallet in exodus and still missing the balance.
As a last ditch effort I tried to restore the wallet into a different wallet app all together and BOOM.. my Sol tokens reappeared.
Turns out: both wallets were showing 2 different public addresses to the SAME private key but exodus was only showing me the balance on one public address and not all of the tokens the private key actually held.
Has anyone else experience this? Am I being a noob??
