Bought SOL on Photon and it keeps dissappearing?

So I deposited a few dollars of SOL to test out Photon SOL platform. It takes like 10 tries to manage to deposit it from Brave Wallet, and then when I purchase a memecoin or something it says the transaction failed but my SOL balance decreased? Can someone explain that? If they charge you a fee even for failed transcations then that’s the stupidest thing ever because Jupiter has never done that to me.

I even click on HOLDINGS tab to see if the transcations went through and It says I hold no tokens. I dont understand this platform. Can anyone explain?
