What’s your long-term conviction play?

I started out in crypto back in March 2020. As a 24 year-old, who had been following crypto since 2017 but just never got in, I seized the moment and went all in when ETH touched 150$ and BTC was at 8k. Not the absolute bottom but I felt pretty good with myself.

It took some time but I finally started to see some good profits around 2021. I exited half of my positions to be able to have some pocket-money while at university.

Flash-forward to May 2024 and I heard about memecoins. At first I was skeptical. Was this just this cycle’s version of NFT’s? Saw a lot of dumb cat and dog memes, that were relevant for about 24 hours.

But then I stumbled upon something that actually resonated with me.

I found this political but at the same time a-political memecoin.

A coin that speaks to the dissatisfaction we the people have towards the ruling class.

A coin that says; “You know what? Fuck this shit. I’d rather vote for a fucking dog.”

With the coin, I found a tight-knit community that gives a fuck about current events, while at the same time think for themselves.

A community that doesn’t pander to the left or the right, but just has a chill time while we watch the world burn, and try to enjoy the fireworks, while the inevitable doom edges ever closer.

Right now, I get dejavu from the time of March 2020. Not because the crypto market is bottoming out, but rather because my coin got dumped by the devs 15 days ago.

And I took that chance, and said “Fuck it, I am not backing down”.

I am greedy when others are fearful, and I am fearful when others are greedy.

Dumped from 400k all the way down to 20k, bounced right back towards 150-250k, now sitting at 157k.

A full-on Democratic Take-Over is taking place, and we just won’t give up.

Election-season is coming up and I am certain that this is going to take hold in the crypto-space because of our relentless campaigning and conviction, that people would really rather vote for a dog than what’s available at the moment.
