About a week ago, a dev created the meme coin ‘Fartboy’, inspired by the coin ‘Fartcoin’ which went insane and hit a $3 Billion market cap. This dev had obviously planned to make a coin in line with this hype and scam people. The bottom line is that they rugged ‘Fartboy’ for a few thousand dollars when it hit close to $50k market cap and lots of people lost their money. Sad times.
HOWEVER – THIS IS WHERE IT GETS CRAZY!
After the rug, a small community began to pump the coin as a giant ‘FUCK YOU’ to that dev. The dev has no stake in it, so the community want to rub it in their face and show them how much money they could’ve made if they played fair.
FAST FORWARD TO TODAY:
The coin has obtained a large following, over 8,000 individual holders, very evenly spread and it is boasting a MASSIVE $50 Million market cap! This means the dev’s original stake would’ve now been worth approximately $10 Million… Talk about a ‘FUCK YOU!’
The community are gunning for a $1 Billion market cap, putting the dev’s original stake at what would have been worth ~$200 Million.
The growth is snowballing and this genuinely looks possible. People are making a boatload of money from hardly anything and it’s hilarious. Can you IMAGINE how that scammer dev must be feeling right now!?
