My fellow Degens, Poppy Lovers and Friends,

First of all, for you who don’t know who $Poppy is, $Poppy is a pygmy hippo born late December 2024 in Richmond, Virginia USA and she is the blood related cousin of $MooDeng.

I just wanted to share my thoughts about $Poppy and current market situation.

The market hasn’t been great for memecoins lately with Sol tanking under $190, the geopolitical uncertainty with Trump ranting all over the place and of course the number of rugs on the Solana chain is getting out of hand. Lot of people got wrecked with $Trump, $Melania and now recently $Libra. And here on reddit we saw how many butt holes got opened by $RTO and $THC. It seems you all are chasing the pump but forgetting the dump as it’s almost all controlled by a group of insiders.

It seems to me it’s a matter of time people realize that long term meme coin holds with large community back up (whether dev team or CTO), strong narrative will eventually be the only path to success. And there are a lot of promising coins/communities here on Reddit which have been here for months and still going strong with all the shit dumped on them last months.

As for $Poppy, we got a severe beating as well you look at our current market cap of 160k compared to our all-time high of 11m market cap. The momentum was there during the naming period and as the first crypto trenches influenced name, we really had everything to moon. Moonshot application was even pending, and we were a blink away to be listed until Trump opened our butts as well, sucking all the liquidity and unfortunately, we weren’t meeting the requirements for Moonshot listing (1m daily volume and minimum 1m market cap). Just for your information, $Poppy has been a CTO since the beginning as the dev sold for a happy meal within the first days. Since then the core team hasn’t sold a dime even at all-time high, so yeah not all CTOs are looking for exit liquidity in new members.

However, we still believe in that big green candle for $Poppy. I mean we have a real animal here who continuously brings a lot of eyes on all social media platforms. During the naming period, she was already covered by big media channels like the Today Show.

As for social media coverage, just have a look on our main X page which has almost 10k subscribes and this is just the memecoin fan page. Every time the zoo posts something about $Poppy on their X or Tiktok page, the number of views dominate the feeds! Just imagine if this can be capitalized on and getting more normies onboard. And spring still needs to set in meaning more content will be released next months. I mean I bet she will crap on her zookeeper at least once. And no worries for missing any moment because live streams are setup as well!

And as she is American, I expect all American made coins will thrive as within the next 4 years America will be crowned to Crypto capital of the world. Hopefully this will set in after those nasty conflicts and tariff wars end.
