I just stumbled upon something really interesting on the internet—it’s called The Adventures of Coinbird on YouTube.

This animated short was originally created in 2002 and later uploaded to YouTube in 2006 by someone who appears to have been a Microsoft employee at the time. After watching it, I have to say—it really feels like this guy was ahead of his time. The style, the concept, and the execution all have this weirdly futuristic yet nostalgic vibe.
