New to the crypto space. What do you wish you had known when you started?

Hey all, I’m new to the crypto space and looking for some advice. I have a solid background in what crypto is, how it works, some of the larger coins by MC and their use cases and whatnot, but I’ve never actually done any investing.

I do have background in investing in securities, but I’m wondering what you wish you had known when you started trading in this considerably more volatile space.

Please give me answers besides BTC and hold!

Part of the reason I’m asking is because I got invited to a meme a solana-bases telegram group and it looks like the guys there are trying to set something pretty cool. I do like to gamble, so I’m curious to learn more about this side of things.
