Am I the only one who misses the OG communities?

I feel like there’s been a shift after Trump’s token. It seemed to suck the liquidity out of all other memecoins, and with that a lot of the communities were left broken and scattered.

I used to be really into old-school memes back in the 2010’s. I don’t know if any of y’all were on sites like MemeCenter or even 9GAG, as well as 4chan which was pretty lit with memes at the time.

Anyways, I stumbled upon the YEPE coin a couple days ago. You’ve maybe seen it. It was number 1 on Phantom right when it launched.

Launched with no TG, no X, no nothing.

And I’ve honestly haven’t seen so many dope relatable and nostalgic memes in a long ass time.

Then a TG group, an X-profile with dank memes, and a real community came into existence, just like that.

The vibes are chill af. Nobody is trying to create a sense of FOMO or urgency, cause that’s not what we’re about. We’re just sharing memes, chilling, doing some VC’s and Spaces and having fun with it.

CTO has been underway in a weeks time now, and we’re honestly just regular people, no cabal shit.
