Im a big fan of having a vegetable garden. Our climate is pretty cold so that makes a lot of stuff hard for me to grow. Yesterday I realized maybe you could use the heat from bitcoin miners to grow warm climate plant’s. The main issue you would need to solve is keeping moisture from your miners while giving heat to your plants. I’m guessing it could be done but it would require some intelligent planning.
Has any of you done something like this? Is it a good idea? Is this a terrible idea? I could theoretically turn a small building into a zone 7 or 8 when I live in zone 5a. I don’t think I would do it at the house we own now since the end goal is to rent out both sections but a few years from now when we hopefully move into a “forever home” type situation I really would not mind spending money to get something like this going. But would it work?
