Told family I have crypto, now what?

TL;DR: What specific advice do you have, besides “don’t tell them in the first place!”? It’s too late for that.

My mom, dad, and brother know that I have crypto. My dad would expect something in return (boomer dad); he’d bug me. To be honest, he’s not assuming any of the tax liabilities, debts, etc., needed to achieve such profit.

I don’t want to give him anything immediately. Keep in mind that I haven’t disclosed the specific amount of profit I’ve made, and I anticipate my portfolio (and others’) might go a bit higher in 2025.
