My wallet got drained and lost 15 solanas Just 3 days ago, I created a new wallet and transferred half of the money I earned after grinding in the trenches as I am saving money for my daughter who just turned a year old. I transferred the funds and went to sleep. When I woke up, I was shocked to see a transaction of 15 solanas going out from the said wallet. I really have no idea how this happened. I kept my seedphrase on a piece of paper, and for this new wallet, I even’t haven’t seen the private key. Contacted Phantom support and they just keep saying how my seedphrase was compromised, and malware might be affecting my device etc. They’re even asking me to reproduce the problem by creating a new wallet and sending funds again. Oh my God, I just lost 2000 USD and they want me to try sending money again to their wallet only to lose it again? I lost it. This is the first time I lost money on any app. I have other wallets and banking apps on my phone and all the funds are safe except that new wallet on Phantom. I was grinding my ass out of the trenches, lost sleep cause I’m from a timezone where the Degen hours starts around 12AM in my timezone, only to lose the money in a matter of 5 minutes. Also shocked on how poor Phantom’s security is. No 2FA for huge transactions and login on external devices. They don’t take security of users seriously.
