Just wanted to post this to show others how crypto can actually solve problems and be used as a real world payment solution, im SUPER proud of my friend!
Some countries in South America are currently having financial issues and people in those countries are having a lot of difficulty with obtaining dollars from banks and their financial institutions. My friends business works with South America (mainly Bolivia) and a lot of her clients this year have had difficulty in paying her or would have to pay in daily/weekly small amounts as they were unable to exchange their countries currency for dollars. My friends company is American and she needs dollars to be able to pay her things here and really cant accept another countries currency. Somehow, the idea of being paid via crypto came up and with my basic understanding of crypto and explanations to her, as well as a lot of research and testing, she has been accepting crypto payments for the last 2 months and she is the first logistics company to be accepting crypto payments in Bolivia (she is trying to expand to others as well). Its awesome to see her spread the word of crypto through her business and begin to be a believer in it herself!
This just proves, in my opinion, that crypto is here to stay 🙂
