Need Assistance with Perps on Jup

So, I can’t figure out if the perps on jup are isolated or not? I’m completely comfortable being a degen and risking whatever amount I try to put in, but I would like some clarity on say if I close at a loss or get liquidated if I am only using that underlying or can it wipe your port? Right now 3 sol at 40x leverage is roughly $14.5K. Say I got liquidated, am I only losing that 3 sol or am I responsible for the 14.5K? I’m equating this to options in how I would only lose what I put in, but one of my close friends in crypto started tweaking when I said perps. Can someone help clarify? Thank you
