Decentralization means more control, which means more responsability. That’s applied for the good part and bad parts.
People crying and complaining about the scams, the losses and how non-friendly user crpyto can be is price to pay for the real freedom crypto represents.
I belive most scams and rugpulls can be prevented with the right education on the matter. The problem is that self-custody is hard in the beggining, which makes an obstacle to main adoption.
But we shall remind that the main goal of crypto is being a peer to peer payment system without needing to trust others but yourself. SBF showed the danger of trusting CEX’s.
If you DYOR and do the transfers with real care you will be fine. Responsability is the key word.
It’s like when a young man leaves the house of the parents. Yes It’s harder but having total responsability of your money means you have total control of it.
No matter the way way we look at it, decentralization is still the best for crypto.
