Solana Countdown Lottery DAPP – not a bad side hustle

Hey all –

I got tired of all the obvious rug-pull coins with no utility, so I decided to create something fun and self-sustaining on Solana.

I have very minimal coding experience, I spent a couple of weeks getting this project up and running.

I’d love to hear your suggestions or criticisms—this is my first launch of this.

How it works:

• Players deposit 0.1 SOL. The last person to deposit when the timer hits zero wins the entire pot (minus a small fee for hosting).

How to play:

1. Connect your Solana wallet (we recommend SolFlare to avoid Phantom warnings).
2. Deposit 0.1 SOL to join the game.
3. The countdown starts at 60 seconds and resets with each deposit: 60 seconds after the first, 30 seconds after the second, 29 seconds after the third, and so on, down to a minimum of 15 seconds.
4. Be the last depositor when the timer reaches zero to win the pot!
5. Your winnings will be automatically sent to your wallet.

Why deposit first?

If you’re the only depositor, you’ll receive around 0.103 SOL for your 0.1 SOL deposit—about $0.50. With the clock resetting every 60 seconds, that can add up to about $30 an hour.
