Back in the day there were some currencies related the metaverse that were having some interesting price performance, like Decentraland (MANA).
But as the majority of crypto projects, it didn’t gain adoption. I mean Why would anyone want to spend they’re time in a virtual world, with virtual concerts, and be someone your really not?
Crypto as real value as you can buy real things with it and store real value. On contrary, most things you can buy in the metaverse have a worse design than Second Life had, which was created like 20 years ago.
Years later I write this to discuss if there is still a valid point about currencies for Metaverse or if it’s pretty much dead at this point.
