Do coin devs ever unfreeze peoples tokens?

So, yes I am a dumbass. I went to Photon and did a small trade there. I’m new to it, usually use Dexscreener so I didn’t spot the ‘can be frozen* warning, annndd of course, my tokens got frozen so I cannot do anything with them. I guess freezing them means the coin has longer term value and makes it look like the coin is ticking over better than it really is, whilst the dev scammer and his pals profit from it. But, do they ever unfreeze once they are done?
